की दिशा में अहम कदम उठाते हुए कुलपति प्रोफेसर डॉ कुनुल कंदीर के निर्देश पर विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने चार नये सदस्यों की नियुक्ति सीनेट और सिंडिकेट में की है. अधिसूचना मंगलवार को विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव डॉ राजीव कुमार द्वारा जारी की गयी. सीनेट सदस्य के रूप में तीन व्यक्तियों को नामित किया गया है. इनमें एसपी कॉलेज दुमका के मनोविज्ञान विभाग के सहायक प्राध्यापक डॉ कलानंद ठाकुर, एएन कॉलेज दुमका के हिंदी विभाग के सहायक प्राध्यापक डॉ अनहद लाल और दुमका के समाजसेवी और छात्रसंघ के पूर्व अध्यक्ष विमल मरांडी शामिल हैं. ये तीनों सदस्य शिक्षा और समाज सेवा के क्षेत्र में अपने योगदान के लिए पहचाने जाते हैं, इनकी नियुक्ति से विश्वविद्यालय को लाभ मिलने की उम्मीद जतायी जा रही है. सिंडिकेट सदस्य के रूप में देवघर कॉलेज के गणित विभाग के सहायक प्राध्यापक डॉ सत्यनारायण सिंह को नामित किया गया है. डॉ सिंह की नियुक्ति तीन वर्षों के लिए की गयी है, उनकी नियुक्ति से विश्वविद्यालय की प्रशासनिक नीति-निर्माण प्रक्रिया को मजबूती मिलने की संभावना है. विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन के अनुसार इन सभी नियुक्तियों को झारखंड राजभवन से प्राप्त अनुमोदन के आलोक में किया गया है. विश्वविद्यालय से यह कदम शैक्षणिक और प्रशासनिक कार्यों में पारदर्शिता और गुणवत्तापूर्ण संचालन सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण प्रयास माना जा रहा
