झारखंड के गैंगस्टर अमन सिंह की धनबाद मंडल कारा (जेल) में हत्या कर दी गयी. पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुटी है. इधर, इस हत्याकांड से जेल की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर भी सवाल खड़े हो गए हैं. बताया जा रहा है कि जेल में ऐसी वारदात की ये पहली घटना है. अमन सिंह कुख्यात नीरज सिंह हत्याकांड का आरोपी था. इस कांड के बाद जेल के अधिकारी भी संदेह के घेरे में आ गए हैं.
आपको बता दें कि धनबाद मंडल कारा में पिछले दिनों सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर उपायुक्त ने छापेमारी की थी. हालांकि, इस दौरान कुछ खास बरामद नहीं हो सका था. यहां के पदाधिकारी भी संदेश के घेरे में रहे हैं. इस वजह से हाल ही में यहां के सुपरिटेंडेंट का तबादला किया गया था. सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर 25 नवंबर को जिले के उपायुक्त ने भी पुलिस बल के साथ यहां छापेमारी की थी. इस दौरान हालांकि कुछ खास नहीं मिला था, पर छापेमारी के मात्र सात दिन बाद ही जेल के अंदर गोलीबारी की इस बड़ी घटना ने जेलों में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की पोल खोल दी है.
